6. Who we share your data with

We may share your personal data with:

  • Our Partners — firms authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to give debt advice, and licensed insolvency practitioners. Partners receive your details only with your consent so that they can contact you, provide advice and, if appropriate, arrange a debt solution. We carry out due diligence on the Partners we work with, but once a Partner receives your details it becomes the data controller for its own use of your data, and its own privacy policy will apply. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any Partner who contacts you.
  • Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting providers, CRM and telephony providers, cloud storage providers, analytics providers and IT support providers, who process data on our behalf under contract and only in accordance with our instructions.
  • Marketing and advertising partners, such as Google and Meta, where you have consented to marketing cookies (see our [Cookie Policy]([Cookie Policy URL])).
  • Regulators, law enforcement and professional advisers, where we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.
  • A buyer, if we sell, transfer or merge parts of our business — in which case we will tell you before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

How we are paid. You do not pay us for our introduction service. Our Partners pay us a fee for each introduction we make. We do not sell your personal data to anyone else, and we only pass your details to a Partner with your consent, which we ask for before you submit your details.

8. Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes we collected it for, including to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. As a general rule:

  • If you do not proceed with an introduction to a Partner, we will delete or anonymise your data after 12 months, unless you have asked us to keep it for longer or we are required to retain it by law.
  • If you are introduced to a Partner, we retain a record of the introduction and your consents for 6 years to meet our legal and regulatory record-keeping obligations, and to be able to demonstrate compliance if challenged.
  • Call recordings are retained for 6 years, so that we and our Partners can evidence your consent and how your enquiry was handled.

9. How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, including encryption of data in transit, access controls, and staff training. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Erase your data in certain circumstances (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Restrict our processing of your data in certain circumstances;
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes;
  • Data portability — receive a copy of data you have provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent; and
  • Not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing which have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@consolidate-credit.co.uk. We will respond within one month, as required by law. We may need to ask you for information to confirm your identity before we can act on your request.

11. Marketing preferences

If you have agreed to receive marketing from us, you can opt out at any time by:

  • clicking “unsubscribe” on any marketing email;
  • replying “STOP” to any marketing text message; or
  • emailing us at privacy@consolidate-credit.co.uk

If you opt out, we may still contact you to progress an enquiry you have already made, or where we are required to do so by law.

12. Complaints

We hope we never give you cause to complain, but if something has gone wrong, please tell us so we can put it right.

How to complain to us:
Email: privacy@consolidate-credit.co.uk
Post: tion finance LLC, 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA

We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days, and aim to provide a full response within 8 weeks.

Please note: if your complaint relates to advice or a solution provided by one of our Partners (rather than to how we have handled your data or introduction), you should raise it directly with that Partner first, using its own complaints procedure. If you remain unhappy with the Partner’s response, you may be able to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

If your complaint relates specifically to how we have handled your personal data, and you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the UK’s supervisory authority:

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Please check back periodically.
